1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AI Storage Cleaner - ProClean (“ProClean”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles information in connection with the app and this website. The app provider is the developer identified on the app’s App Store product page. For questions about this policy or our handling of information, contact support@manyfeatures-clean.com. This policy distinguishes content processed on your device from information involved in support, App Store purchases and the limited refund process described below.
2. Our approach to your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, provide your media or contacts to advertisers, or share your personal files with data brokers. Your photos, videos, contacts and private-folder contents are not transmitted to the developer as part of ordinary cleaning and organization. Information you choose to send to support, Apple’s own processing, and a consent-based refund response are separate situations explained in this policy. We do not treat permission to access your library as permission to publish or distribute it.
3. Photos, videos and cleaning operations
When you grant access, ProClean uses the photos and videos available through the permissions you select to provide media review, duplicate or similarity suggestions, storage estimates and supported compression features. These operations concern content accessible on your device; they do not give us ownership of your media. If access is restricted to selected items, results will be limited to those items. The app does not have unrestricted access to every file, system folder or other app on your device.
4. Contacts and optional permissions
Contact management requires the relevant device permission. Access is used to identify and help manage entries available to the app, including potential duplicates. You choose whether to grant access and whether to apply changes. You can review or revoke permissions in iOS Settings at any time. Denying access may disable the related function without requiring you to provide unrelated information. Permissions for one feature do not automatically authorize access for another purpose.
5. Secret Folder and local content
Content you place in Secret Folder is used to provide the private-storage feature. The PIN feature is an access control and should be used together with your device’s own security protections. Do not assume that importing a file removes every original, synchronized copy or backup. Check your photo library and your own backup settings separately. Device backups, iCloud synchronization and operating-system services are controlled by your settings and Apple’s policies; they are not transfers of your private files by us to advertising partners.
6. Purchases and subscription information
Apple processes App Store purchases and payments under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment card number or banking credentials. Purchase-related information made available through Apple may be used to establish whether a subscription or purchase is valid, restore eligible access and address a purchase problem. Relevant information can include a product or transaction identifier, purchase date, expiration status or refund status. Processing a purchase does not require access to the content of your photos or contacts.
7. Refund requests and information sent to Apple
If you request a refund for an in-app purchase, we may provide Apple with limited information about the use of that purchase to assist Apple’s review. Where available and relevant, this may include app usage duration, a non-directly-identifying account identifier, the cumulative amount spent and the cumulative amount refunded. An identifier described as anonymous may still be linkable to a transaction and should not be understood as necessarily irreversibly anonymized. This is a specific exception to our general non-sharing approach; it does not include your media, contact list, private-folder files or payment credentials.
8. Consent for refund-related disclosure
We will obtain valid consent before sending consumption information to Apple where required by Apple’s rules and applicable law. Merely reading this policy, using the app or accepting the Terms does not substitute for any separate consent that is required. Only information actually available and necessary for the refund response will be provided. We will not invent missing usage or purchase records. Apple makes its own refund determination. Refusing this disclosure does not prevent you from submitting a refund request to Apple.
9. Support correspondence
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use that information to respond, investigate the issue, maintain the relevant correspondence and resolve follow-up questions. Please provide only information relevant to your request. If a screenshot helps explain an issue, hide personal content before sending it. Our email service necessarily processes messages in order to deliver support; sending us a private file voluntarily is different from the app uploading your library automatically.
10. Website operation and external services
This website does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, third-party fonts or marketing cookies. Delivering a web page nevertheless requires technical communication with the hosting infrastructure, which can involve an IP address, request time, browser information and server security records. External links, including links to Apple, lead to services with their own policies. Optional network tools, if used, necessarily communicate with network endpoints; such endpoints can observe connection information such as an IP address. This does not authorize sharing your photos or contacts.
11. Purposes and lawful grounds
Where data protection law requires a lawful basis, information is handled as necessary to provide a service you request, with consent when consent is required, to comply with a legal obligation, or for legitimate interests such as answering support requests and maintaining service security, subject to your rights. Device permissions and any refund-disclosure consent remain purpose-specific. We do not rely on broad language in this policy to justify a new, unrelated use of your personal content.
12. Retention and deletion
Local content remains subject to your device, app and backup settings. You can remove content through the available controls, but uninstalling the app can also remove locally stored app data and does not necessarily remove external backups or original copies. We retain support correspondence and any necessary purchase or refund records only for as long as needed for the relevant request, legal obligations or legitimate dispute resolution. The appropriate period depends on the record and applicable requirements; records should not be kept indefinitely merely because they exist.
13. Your choices and privacy rights
You can change device permissions, stop using optional features and contact us with privacy questions. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information we hold, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent for future processing. Withdrawal does not undo lawful processing already performed. We may need proportionate verification before fulfilling a request. We cannot retrieve content that exists only on your device, and requests concerning Apple’s independent records should be directed to Apple.
14. Security and international processing
We aim to limit information to its intended purpose and use reasonable safeguards for information we handle. No app, device, email channel or storage method provides an absolute security guarantee. Keep iOS up to date, protect your device credentials and maintain independent backups. Apple, email delivery and hosting infrastructure may process information in locations outside your country. Where we arrange a transfer covered by data protection law, legally required safeguards must apply. Apple’s own processing is explained in Apple’s privacy information.
15. Children and required disclosures
The app is not directed at children below the minimum age at which they may use it under applicable law and the App Store age rating. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children through support. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us for assistance. We may also have to disclose limited information when a binding legal obligation requires it; any such disclosure must be limited to the lawful requirement and does not permit general commercial sharing.
16. Updates and contacting us
We may revise this policy when the app, relevant services or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current published version. Material changes will be communicated where required, and new consent will be requested when required; an updated policy is not a substitute for consent. Contact support@manyfeatures-clean.com with privacy requests or complaints. Where applicable, you may also raise a concern with your local data protection authority. This policy does not limit rights that applicable law gives you.
